Established in 1987, Stretchtext sought out to specialize in spandex and stretch fabrics for aerobic, dance, skating, erotic, exotic and intimate apparels as well as swimwear, clubwear and lingerie.

It has since become the largest distributor of stretch fabric in Canada, supplying companies such as the Cirque du Soleil and outfitting organizations including the Canadian Olympic team as well as the Grand Ballet Canadien. Stretchtext's current collection offers an outstanding variety of tricots, holograms, metallics, rachels, velvet, satin and an extensive selection of spandex prints.

At present time, Stretchtext is embarking on an expansion of operations to the United States and currently exports to Cuba, the Middle East, South America, Panama, Puerto Rico, Mexico and the West Indies.
